      Today I am posting another tutorial .  I made a link bracelets with soldered on flowers and butterflies .ts made from sterling silver ( 18 gauge and 20 gauge ) .By the way silver prices are way down right now so if you need to buy sterling do it now !! I love flowers , all kind of flowers and I was thinking a ring would go nicely with that butterfly garden bracelet Again its made from sterling silver sheet and a piece of 5mm x 1.25 mm sterling silver wire cut to length to make the ring shank. I like using flat wire stock and 1.25 mm is a nice thickness for making rings . This time i took some pictures of the process so you can see how much work is involved in it . I made a code of arms wrap bracelet for this tutorial cut out your shield as the base and whatever you desire on it I used 20 gauge sterling silver make sure your shape fits well on your shield without overlapping Cutting out that bird was not easy by the way ,Its really tiny and detailed solder both together dome your shield in a dabbing block of if you do not have one you can keep it flat clean the back of the shield with sand paper cut some short strips of flat wire bend with a needle nose plier...

how to make cuff links - cut out shapes with the jewelry saw as a base - I like to use 18 gauge metals . 18 gauge is 1mm thick and does not feel flimsy or bend easy- here its bronze free hand draw a shape on copper make sure that the second shape is smaller than the first my small work bench cut out shape with the jewelry saw i can do that now in under 20 seconds pretty small tip - black nail polish hides chipped and cut up nails make sure that both shapes fit well together...
