Measuring 2 inches long by 1 inch wide when finished, this money clip started as a flat band cut on our precision shear, was folded in half, worked into shape over a cylindrical steel bar entirely by hand and the corners were rounded and edges filed for both a classy appearance and preserving those hard earned dollars. The initials were stamped using a steel lettering kit and 3 lb hammer to ensure the deepest possible impressions. A pewter black patina was used to darken the initials for added contrast against the bright glow of freshly polished copper. Since we really like the appearance of aged and antique copper, we have left the surfaces untreated to oxidize naturally with time, however upon request, we can certainly add a wax coating seal to the copper. Alternative finishes include: antiqued patinas, fully hammered surfaces, and heavy brushed burnishes.
