Measuring 1.22 inches long by 1.03 inches wide, these guitar picks are one of the most common shapes and. The picks were pressed from 5052 18 gauge aluminum and have been thoroughly deburred, have smooth edges, and a basic dry tumbled finished.
The picks were designed by importing a variety of common pick styles into a cad program, taking the average geometry, and slightly tweaking them to perfection. We decided on 5052 aluminum, because this particular alloy has high fatigue strength, great resistance to corrosion, and is a food grade aluminum. Since sweaty hands, picks in the mouth, and using picks as tools are all part of playing guitar, we wanted to offer you the best picks possible. The design was then transferred to a special steel flat stock, where the tongue was cut with a saw, and the guitar pick by hand to preserve the handmade nature of the product. These picks are pressed one at a time and are as close to perfect as humanly possible, but are not milled, machined, or laser cut. These blanks can generally be used for playing, making jewelry, and stamping right out of the bag, though a final finish is recommended for aesthetic perfection in jewelry applications.
Custom orders are always welcome. Since we make our own dies and love working with metals, we can fulfill bulk and mass quantity orders for all sorts of custom shapes without ever sacrificing quality. Thanks.. Nici
