Calligraphic practice is the art of giving form in an expressive, harmonious, and skilled manner which has been captured in the custom font meticulously hand cut, buffed and polished. Cut from 20 gauge brass sheet metal as a flat band measuring 3.5 inches, the clip was folded in half and worked into shape over a cylindrical steel bar before rounding and smoothing the edges with an abrasive wheel. The satin brushed finish brings out the warm yellow tones in the bronze and is easily maintained with commercial products or any number of natural “recipes” like lemon juice and baking soda.
