This copper guitar pick was cut from 18 gauge copper and features an amazing spiral sun design. By chasing the copper with a hammer and nail, I produced a series of dots that form the inner spiral, while the sun's rays were created with the imprint of a common screwdriver around the circumference of the spiral. A pewter black patina was brushed into the chased grooves and dots for added contrast against the glowing copper.
If you prefer more substance than aluminum or plastic with a heavier feel, then you will absolutely dig playing with a copper pick. My copper guitar picks are nearly indestructible, very rigid, have a gorgeous metallic tone, and perfect for jamming till dawn with their hand filed edges and polished surfaces.
The pick measures approximately 1.25 inches long by 1.15 inches wide at the top, weighs about 6 grams, and is based on a standard guitar pick. You can also personalized your guitar pick with custom text on the backside by entering any wishes in the notes during check out.
