Handcrafted with all eight points representing compass directions North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, and Northwest, this unique stylized marine flower was sawed by hand using a piece and cut technique in an 18 gauge sterling silver 1 inch diameter disc to guide you in any direction when you are lost at sea. The upper disc with the hand cut flower was then soldered to an 18 gauge sterling silver backing disc with silver solder and fused with an acetylene torch. A black patina was brushed into the flower, before thoroughly polishing the pendant with a wire brush to leave only subtle shadows in the flower shape for contrast against the bright radiant shine of the sterling silver.

The medallion measures 1 inch in diameter and comes with a stainless steel ball chain, however you may also opt for a black leather cord tied in a Southwestern style or a sterling silver link chain. The border around the flower has been left open for custom text, stamped designs, or any custom touches of your choosing.
