Inspired by the first snow of the winter season, this snowflake pendant uses an artistic technique of hammering the thick 17 gauge copper disc on a snowflake patterned block instead of rolling with a mill. By hammering the disc with uneven pressure, there is more variation in thickness, shine, and texture to better capture an antiqued handmade appeal. The backside of the pendant takes on the impressions of the hammer with a honeycomb pattern which further adds character and interest to the pendant.
