Melding bold handmade artistry and a mix of mid-century, Boho, and modern influences, this unique one of kind large sterling silver ring was handcrafted to stage a huge natural 26mm x 16mm red coral stone as a unmistakable focal point set in a fine detailed gallery wire bezel and perfectly contrasted with an antiqued patina and hand chased designs for a timeless meld of silver and gemstones.

The outer ring was custom sized 45mm x 32mm to maintain the proportions of the stone and sawed entirely by hand from 18 gauge sterling silver to capture the “bohemian” appeal of self made jewelry. As a creative twist on a classic design, the gallery bezel cup was joined to the outer ring with sterling silver solder and then an overlay was placed on top of the outer ring with a custom cut out for the stone setting to create a sleek touch of subtle modern on an otherwise screaming bold design. Balancing a larger than life statement of awe inspiring size and shear eye candy with just enough practicality for everyday wear, the ring weighs about 23 grams.

To continue the decorative patterns, a swirling floral patterned wire with mid-century influence was chosen for the ring shank, sized, formed, and joined to the ring.
