Bangle with Personalized Latitude Longitude Coordinates in Sterling Silver

Engraved with the coordinates of a special place, this latitude longitude handmade 2mm thick sterling silver bangle is a beautiful memento that guides you back to that place with every glance. As photographed, this bangle was cut 4 mm wide from 12 gauge (2mm thick) sterling silver, stamped one coordinate digit at a time, hammered into shape over a wooden bracelet mandrel with a nylon mallet, and the ends were soldered together with sterling silver solder and an acetylene torch. A patina was brushed into the lettering for stunning legibility from afar and the mirror finish was produced by hand polishing with a series of increasing grit polishing cloths. The edges were filed smooth by hand for comfortable fit and classy appearance.
