Taking a touch of musical inspiration to blend sound with the radiant shine of sterling silver, this guitar stamped sterling silver ring scatters rays with hammered borders while the bi-directionally brushed center provides a sense of soft flowing light as the background for the floating guitars to capture the that unique sense of space filled the reverberations of a string in motion.

Each ring is hand-sheared 8 mm wide from 18 gauge sterling silver and can be customized in both length and width for a perfect look and comfortable fit. Much like Pete Townshend on a guitar smashing trip, the edges of the ring were both symbolically and artistically hammered and beaten after stamping the guitars and darkening the lines with a black earth metal patina. The flat band is worked into a semi round shape with a pliers, the ends perfectly aligned, seams joined together using a fine 5000F hydrogen welder, and finally the band is slid over a metal mandrel where the loosely formed asymmetrical ring is shaped to perfection with a nylon mallet. While rounding and filing the edges, the seam is filed to create a nearly invisible seam.
