Handmade flowers cut freehand from sterling silver using a fine saw along with Swiss Blue Topaz, give this double flower ring the warmth and character of handmade artisanship while combining the limitless intrigue of endless hues of blue in the Topaz gemstone.

The smaller flowers were sawed as one continuous form without interruption and domed on a dapping block to capture a realistic flower shape with depth and dimension. Small bezel cups were joined to the centers of the flowers to hold the 3mm topaz stones. Allowing for custom sizing options, the ring shank is also handmade and sized to a perfect fit by hammering 16 gauge sterling silver wire over a steel mandrel. Joining the ends together, sterling silver solder is worked with precision around the seam and base of the flowers by heating with an acetylene to a perfect flow that fills the voids. Diligent filing is then used to smooth the seams and remove excess silver, before applying a patina to accentuate highlights and shadows for stunning perfection.
