This seahorse pendant was sawed by hand from 18 gauge sterling silver and features stunning pierced and cut out details. Each cut out was made feeding a metal saw blade through punched pilot holes and carefully cutting out the intricate design details. I hand burnished the sterling silver with a wire brush, smoothed and filed harsh edges, and lightly polished the surface to a warm glow with a buffing wheel.
The sea horse pendant includes a sterling silver chain but you may also swap the chain for vegan friendly options. This design can also be personalized with special touches such as gemstone eyes or combined with other metals.
