Capturing the intricate crystal geometry, this elegant snowflake pendant was sawed entirely by hand from 18 gauge sterling silver using a jewelry saw, features the warm golden glow of a 20 gauge 14K solid gold star soldered in the center, and is beautiful addition to my winter and Christmas collection. The edges were carefully filed by hand to enhance the flowing contours of the snowflake and surfaces burnished with a wire brush before gently polishing the sterling silver with a silicon buffing wheel to reveal radiant silver glow.
