This sterling silver ring toe ring or adjustable finger ring features a unique heart patterned wire with antiqued patina. Using a steel ring mandrel, I hammered the flat heart patterned wire with a nylon hammer to form the perfect ring. The ends were left open for easy adjustment and a comfortable fit. After applying an oxidizing patina, I hand burnished the surface with a wire brush to reveal the natural glow of raw sterling silver, while leaving the deep grooved heart pattern dark for maximum contrast. The patina also produces an antiqued appearance with rich gray hues.
