Taking inspiration from Yoga, this sterling silver ring necklace blurs dividing lines with a polished mirror finish on a curved surface that blends a radiant silver shine with distorted reflections to produce harmonious images and swirling illuminary light beams melded together in a unity of “oneness” to exemplify the very definition of the Hindu “Om” Symbol. A hammered honeycomb pattern opposite the Om, adds a timeless rustic finish for even more intrigue and tricks with the light.
Based on the same dimensions and sizing of our finger rings, a flat bland of solid 18 gauge sterling silver was sheared 8mm wide, stamped with a large OM (Aum) symbol by striking a steel imprinting rod multiple time with a 3lb hammer to produce deep impressions before working the flat band into a semi round shape with a pliers, aligning the ends with great care and precision, joining the seams together using sterling silver solder, and shaping to perfection with a nylon mallet. While rounding and filing the edges, the seam is filed smooth until nearly invisible.
Handcrafted with both men and women in mind, we have chosen the black leather cord as the most durable and flexible unisex option, however we can also offer this ring necklace with vegetarian options ranging from a dainty silver chain to colored paracords. The inside of the ring can also be stamped or engraved with a name, date, or additional short text.
