Blending art and nature together to dress up your ties, this leaf shaped tie bar was sawed by hand from 18 gauge aluminum using a jewelry saw, chased with grooves along the edges, and formed into a tie bar by hand bending the aluminum around a small cylindrical piece of steel. A black patina was brushed into grooves for contrast against the silver glow of the aluminum before filing the edges and rounding the end tabs.
Measuring about 2.2 inches long by .5 inch wide, this tie bar is a common size and the lightweight aluminum prevents downward sliding. Custom orders for tie bars in any shape, size, style, and metal are always welcome. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or requests.
