Focusing on a simple musical theme, this copper guitar pick necklace was cut from 17 gauge copper, stamped with a music note as focal point, and hammered along the edges. After applying a pewter black patina to the music note, the edges and surfaces have been filed smooth to produce a playable guitar pick.
The pick measures 1.3 inches long by 1.2 wide and is similar in size to a standard plastic guitar pick. Using 17 gauge copper allows us to produce a guitar pick that is rigid, strong, and heavy to create a bright tone with a slight metallic ring. The guitar pick necklace comes with a black genuine leather 1.8mm thick cord tied using slip knots in a southwestern style, however we also have ball chains and other vegan options.
