This guitar pick was cut from 18 gauge aluminum and stamped one letter at a time with My Mom Rocks in a fancy script font for a very special guitar playing mom. The edges were filed by hand and surfaces polished so that mom can rock out without cutting her fingers and breaking strings. I applied a pewter black patina to enhance the text and add contrast to the lettering.
The my mom rocks guitar pick was based on a standard plastic guitar pick measuring 1.3 inches long by 1.2 inches wide and is lightweight, rigid, and strong.
