Brining peace and tranquillity to you music, this sea turtle guitar pick was custom cut in our studio from 18 gauge aluminum, imprinted with a large sea turtle, and rocks out filed edges with buffed surfaces to produce a pick that swims gracefully over your guitar strings while capturing the eyes in waves of flowing silver.
The sea turtle stamp is imprinted with a large steel metal stamp and requires repeated striking with a 3lb hammer. For added contrast again the polished aluminum, the grooves of the sea turtle were treated with a pewter black patina. Measuring 1.3 inches long by 1.2 inches wide, this guitar pick is similar in size to a standard plastic guitar pick. Aluminum is lightweight, rigid, and strong and this pick can be ordered in any thickness ranging from very thin to extra thick. The 18 gauge is about 1mm thick and considered thick according to the metal guitar pick scale.
