Embodying the exhilaration and beauty of the wolf, the wolf's head and flowing fur were sawed free form by hand from 20 gauge sterling using a jewelry saw and soldered to handmade 18 gauge 1.25 inch diameter backing disc. Bound together with a soldered full moon and finished with small chased details, this wolf medallion is a one of a kind statement for a nature lover or wolf enthusiast. A brushed patina provides the subtle accents along the edges of the wolf that when combined with my signature fine grit buffed finish, gives a three dimensional appearance set off with the contrast between the dark patina and silver glow.
The medallion hangs from your choice of a stainless steel ball chain, black leather cord with slip knots, or a sterling silver chain. For a delicate classy appearance, I recommend the sterling silver chain, however for everyday wear in extreme conditions, the black leather cord is an excellent balance between robustness and style.
