Seize the day with this handmade massive 2mm thick sterling silver bangle stamped one letter a time with carpe diem. This bangle was cut 5 mm wide from 12 gauge sterling silver, stamped one letter at a time, hammered into shape over a wooden bracelet mandrel with a nylon mallet, and the ends were soldered together with sterling silver solder and an acetylene torch. A patina was brushed into the lettering for stunning legibility from afar and the mirror finish was produced by hand polishing with a series of increasing grit polishing cloths. The edges were filed smooth by hand for comfortable fit and classy appearance.
