Measuring 2 inches long by 1 inch wide when finished, this money clip started as a flat band cut on our precision shear, was folded in half, worked into shape over a cylindrical steel bar entirely by hand and the corners were rounded and edges filed so that there are no sharp corners. After stamping the I (heart) Dad and leave ample space to add your own personalized messages or touches, a uni-directional brushed burnish produced with an abrasive rubberized silicon pad, was used to reveal a hint of texture while producing natural highlights and silver hues that vary with viewing angles while hiding scratches and the abuse of everyday life.
