This radiant sunburst sterling silver ring can be worn as toe ring or adjustable finger ring and is sure to brighten a dark day with the warm glow of brushed silver. The ring was constructed by shearing a 5mm flat strip from 16 gauge sterling silver, stamping a large shining star stamp as a focal point with smaller stars on both sides, and hammering the flat metal over a steel mandrel to form the perfect ring. 16 gauge sterling silver is thicker than standard 20 gauge and gives this ring a high quality feel, substance, and weight. I smoothed, rounded, and filed the ends and edges by hand for a comfortable fit and polished classy appearance. After applying a dark patina to the stars, the ring was hand burnished with a wire brush to enriched the metallic glow.
The ring is adjustable and will fit small to medium fingers or ring sizes 3 through 8. If you intend to wear this ring primarily as a toe ring, please let me know in the notes to seller section during check out so that I can use an 18 gauge sterling silver and tweak the sizing accordingly.
